1242-QAH-Cam08-Exterior-North-230223-1024x768.jpgAs we start the next stage in our plans to improve facilities across the QA Hospital site, the North Entrance will be closed from 4 June until works are complete by early 2025. This closure also affects the drop-off area which will be closed whilst work takes place.

This closure comes after the opening of the Main Entrance last week, which includes an M&S Food, The Stock Shop, and Changing Places accessible facilities.

The North Entrance will include a second Costa Coffee outlet providing somewhere for people collecting prescriptions from the outpatient’s pharmacy to wait, as well as clinical research space on the first floor.

Patients and visitors are encouraged to enter the hospital via the Main Entrance (accessible 24 hours a day) and East Entrance (7.45am to 9pm). A temporary entrance is being opened through the B-level Haematology and Oncology Unit entrance. This will be open from early morning until 10pm, however as there will be no drop-off area, people are encouraged to use our other entrances.

The North Car Park will be unaffected by the closure to the entrance and to help with pick-up and collection, please remember you can use our multi-storey car parks for 20 minutes for free.

We are excited to share some images of what the developed entrance will look like and recognise that this work can be disruptive, so would like to thank you for your support in the coming months.
