As part of National Apprenticeship Week 2025, Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust (PHU) is celebrating the success of its apprenticeship programme since the national programme begun in 2017. Entering its eighth year the Trust has supported an impressive 1,025 apprenticeship starts, with 538 apprentices completing their programmes and moving on to further their careers.

Last year we launched our Clinical Strategy which gives us a plan for making these changes. We want to regularly gather your views and opinions to ensure this plan is focusing on the right areas for change and improvement.
